With the 3D Cityplanner you can get access to rich data sets from wfs, wms or other formats.

Data for various topics

The 3D Cityplanner can display data for themes such as the environmental law, liveability, soil and subsurface or real estate. You can then make a categorization yourself into, for example, environmental data, infrastructure, air quality, noise pollution, etc.
Combine data from different sources

Data can be combined from open data sources (for example http://www.opengeospatial.org/blog/2034).
Visualize data

The 3D Cityplanner can visualize all types of data, ranging from Points, Polylines, Polygons, Images and Tiles using OGC standards.
Save favorites as bookmarks

In addition to being able to structure and categorize data yourself, you can also save specific combinations of map layers.
2D Modus

A three-dimensional representation has great added value in all kinds of areas but in some cases a 2D representation from above can also provide much clarity.
Transparency basic map

If desired, the basic map can be made transparent in order to make underground layers such as soil structure or cables and pipes visible from above.

The 3D Cityplanner works in the browser and makes it possible to create beautiful visualisations based on real data and is the basis of many analyzes.

Shadow analysis

The 3D Cityplanner makes it possible to make a dynamic shadow analysis for every time of the day and every period of the year. A handy tool to make possible shadow nuisance of a spatial plan accessible to local residents.
High quality display

With the so-called High Quality Rendering, the 3D display can be further improved. This is for example to generate screenshots from standard viewpoints, or to assess certain sightlines.
Basemaps

In addition to data from various sources, the 3D Cityplanner offers a diverse package of basic maps such as CartoDB, OpenStreetMap (OSM) and MapTiler.
Height Scale

With this functionality it is possible to increase the visualization of objects. In this way it is possible to accentuate certain objects or make them more visible.
Data collection

With the data collector it is possible to puncture a specific location and thus get information from the total data set for this point without actually having to turn on all layers. A very handy tool for location analysis!
Drilling core and cross section of substrate

Using data from the DINOloket of TNO and the Geological Survey of the Netherlands, it is possible to display a vertical cross-section or core of geological or hydrogeological models in 3D.

3D ground level

It is possible to visualize the ground level in detail in 3D.
3D drawing functionality

In the 3D Cityplanner it is possible to design spatial development projects yourself. Starting with a project plan and subplan, followed by specific functions such as housing, offices, retail or parking. Each element has its own customizable financial calculations.
Project summary

Including the total area of the project, the footprint of buildings and the Gross Floor Area (GFA). At the same time, spatial area characteristics such as FSI (Floor Space Index), GSI (Ground Space Index) and OSR (Open Space Ratio) are also calculated automatically.
Convert buildings (world wide) from data to dynamic object

By drawing in a project area where already existing buildings are based on open data, it can be converted into dynamic buildings. These buildings can be adjusted or demolished with the calculation of financial consequences.
Subdivision into Functions

For each project, it is automatically recorded how many square meters per function is designed. The following functions are calculated in this way: housing, shops, offices, companies, agriculture, parking and other.
Finance

For the projects that are created, calculations are made based on adjustable key figures of the total construction costs, additional costs and total investment value. The rental income, sales income and the total project result are also generated automatically.
Comparing schemas

Thanks to the rapid planning, various scenarios can be worked out quickly, calculated and compared with each other, so that design decisions can be made clear quickly and easily.
Basic and customized calculations

It is possible to use our basic calculation models for area development, quality of life or energy calculations. We can also link your specific calculation models.
Excel links

All spatial and financial results from the project can be exported to a clearly structured Excel file.
Online reports

All spatial, financial results or, for example, scores in the field of liveability are displayed in an insightful, online report. This allows results to be shared with residents or other stakeholders.
Draw free form objects

With the free form drawing functionality it is possible to give any desired form to a project plan, existing real estate, new real estate, infrastructure, etc. Before drawing starts, the correct subcategory and type of object can be selected, such as, for example, an underground parking garage, so that this object immediately receives the correct financial parameters based on key figures. With the object settings it is then very easy to adjust the number of floors or floor height. Moving, rotating and copying objects ensures that an area development can be drawn quickly.
Real Estate Library

A so-called real estate library offers the possibility to place standard objects such as terraced houses, semi-detached houses, apartments or commercial buildings in the project, with standard costs based on key figures. Just as with the free form objects, it is possible to move, rotate and copy the standard objects. It is also possible to adapt the building, such as the number of floors but also the costs involved.
